Ang Buxton (they/them) is a queer, non-binary comedian, musician and teacher from Springfield, Massachusetts. Ang has a knack for explaining complicated concepts, like gender politics, in a way that is funny and relatable for everyone. They have their Master’s in instructional practice and was featured as P3 Comedy Festival’s Queer of the Year for 2022 and placed 2nd. Ang has headlined at Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma, Washington, and regularly features and produces shows for various venues around the Western Mass region, including the Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center and The Marigold Theater. Ang Buxton is also an event coordinator at The Majestic Saloon, and started Taking Back Monday, a weekly queer-friendly comedy mic, and Mad Juicy, a monthly comedy showcase.
