Dr. Edith Gonzalez is a native Nuyorican with four graduate degrees in various sub-fields of anthropology. She has a "slight" obsession with Lord of the Rings and the dance intersection of late 70's disco and early 80's punk. Her stories have been featured on the Story Collider and Risk! podcasts. As a two-time Smut Slam champion, she enjoys telling sexy stories to a crowd of strangers.
Kristina Gustovich (she/her) is an Earth scientist, performer, and educator. On stage, she’s puttin’ on the Ritz in Yesterday’s Horoscope and reporting live from Science, Tonight! Off stage, Kristina is a doctoral student at Columbia's Teachers College studying science education in informal settings like museums (and Caveat!). Find her at @mucho_gustovich on Instagram.
Nathan Nadler is a Ph.D. candidate in Neurobiology and Behavior at Columbia University, where he studies the neural mechanisms underlying learning and vocal communication in songbirds. He investigates how the brain evaluates performance and drives skill learning. He is working to understand the circuitry that underlies dopamine performance prediction error.
Beyond the laboratory, Nathan is passionate about science communication and public engagement. He has been involved in outreach initiatives, including Columbia's Late Night Science program, that bring neuroscience to broader audiences. His work spans education, outreach, and interdisciplinary collaborations that bring together scientists, artists, educators, and the public, including the full-length musical Singing Lessons, which explores themes from his research. Nathan is particularly interested in building programs and institutions that connect scientific discovery with education, the arts, and the public. His long-term goal is to create large-scale science outreach efforts that inspire curiosity and deepen public understanding (and hopefully support) of research.
Nathan is committed to advancing both scientific knowledge and public appreciation of science through research, mentorship, and communication.
Panagiota Vogdou was born and raised in Greece and moved to Toronto, Canada in 2015, bringing with her an accent, a suitcase full of stories, and a deep love for the stage. She first performed with the theatre group Ochliroi in her hometown of Kozani, and later with Epi Skinis in Toronto.
Since 2020, storytelling has taken over her life. She has shared her stories at shows such as The Story Collider, Replay Storytelling, Tales Toronto, The Spit, Listen to This!, and True Stories Told Live in Toronto, as well as Confabulation in Montreal.
Panagiota is also a Moth StorySLAM winner, having won the “Struggles” show in Brooklyn, New York (March 2026).
She is currently co-producing and co-hosting The Yarn, a monthly storytelling show in Toronto.
